LD Pensions organises the provision of services to its clients, including both members and employers, in collaboration with external Partners.
Membership Administration
Netcompany, in collaboration with Keylane, is responsible for administering members and pension accounts for The Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund. Valeur is responsible for LD Member Service and handles enquiries from members.
The administration of employers and employees for the Holiday Allowance Fund is carried out by ATP in accordance with an agreement with LD Pensions.
Investment advice
LD Pensions enters into agreements with Danish and foreign portfolio managers under various investment mandates. LD Pensions has structured its investment advice and agreements with external portfolio managers in such a way as to ensure that all of LD Pensions' investment assets – i.e. both cost-of-living allowance funds and holiday allowance funds – benefit from the same investment advice. This provides investment benefits in the form of lower portfolio management costs. The agreements are entered into with Kapitalforeningen LD, where the majority of LD Pensions’ investment assets are held.
LD Pensions offers investment mandates through EU tenders, with contracts running for a number of years, after which the mandates are put out to tender again. Since 2010, LD Pensions has put a large number of investment mandates out to tender and re-tendered them.
Investment Management
The majority of LD Pensions’ listed assets are invested in Kapitalforeningen LD (KLD). By investing the funds in an investment fund, it became possible to enter into an agreement with an authorised management company regarding securities administration. Following an EU tender in 2022, LD Pensions entered into an agreement with Nykredit Portefølje Administration A/S for the management of KLD and with J.P. Morgan Bank AG – Copenhagen Branch, a branch of J.P. Morgan AG, as custodian and custodian bank. The agreement came into force in 2022.
IT operations and support
IT operations and support for LD Pensions’ own staff are provided by itm8, which was awarded the IT contract for the first time in 2012 (as It-afdelingen A/S), in 2018 (as IT Relation) and again in 2024.
