Under 60 years of age

As a general rule, LD Savings can begin to generate payouts no earlier than when you turn 60, but if you meet certain specific conditions, this may be possible sooner.

The most common reasons for receiving payouts before the age of 60:

  • You have been awarded an early retirement pension.
  • You have been awarded a pension from an approved pension scheme, a civil servant’s pension or a civil servant-equivalent pension.
  • You have been awarded compensation for a loss of earning capacity of 50 per cent or more.
  • You have moved away from Denmark.
  • You are, or have been, suffering from a life-threatening illness.

If you meet one of the criteria for payouts, you can initiate the payouts yourself. Simply log in to the self-service portal using your MitID and request payouts. If you are eligible for payouts, your savings will be transferred to your NemKonto.

If you do not have a MitID, you can download a payout request form here instead. Please fill in the form digitally before printing and sending it, as this will make it easier for LD Member Service to read it.

You must provide the documentation yourself to show that you are entitled to receive your LD Savings.
