Costs

The annual costs will vary from member to member, depending on the size of their savings and whether they are held in LD Discretionary or in the portfolios.

As a member, you can view your annual costs in DKK (Ã…OK) and the annual percentage rate (Ã…OP) by logging into your LD Account. These key cost figures are also set out in the annual letter, which you receive every year in February.

Low administrative costs

Members who hold their entire LD Retirement Savings in LD Discretionary pay 0.10%, whilst members who have invested their LD Retirement Savings in portfolios pay 0.12% per annum in management fees.

Tax credit and costs

There is no charge to you as a member for us to handle the tax credit by paying the tax to the government.

The monthly administration fee will remain at almost the same amount as before payments for the levy were made.

The annual costs in Danish kroner (ÅOK) fall once the tax has been deducted from the account, because the portfolios’ investment costs on the net amount are lower than on the gross amount, including tax. Conversely, the annual percentage cost (APC) will rise slightly, as the costs are calculated as a proportion of the net amount rather than the somewhat higher gross amount.

Fees

In addition to the annual costs, which you can view by logging into your LD Account, the following charges apply to The Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund:

  • Portfolio selection: There is a charge of 25 kr. per portfolio selection carried out. The fee remains the same regardless of how and into how many portfolios the savings are allocated.
  • Transfer to another pension scheme: It costs 60 kr. and 0.40 per cent of the savings to transfer to another pension scheme. When transferring savings of 100,000 kr., this amounts to a fee of 460 kr.
