Portfolios

As an LD member, you have the option of allocating your savings to one or more portfolios. You can choose between LD Discretionary and a further four different portfolios that invest in shares, bonds or both.

The returns for each portfolio are updated daily, and you can track their performance every day. You can also compare the portfolios over shorter and longer periods and see what returns they have generated.

Portfolio selection

As a member, your entire savings are automatically allocated to the LD Discretionary portfolio. You can choose at any time to allocate your savings to four other portfolios.

If you wish to vote via the portfolio selection, you must do so yourself by logging in with MitID.

When you select portfolios, a risk barometer shows you whether you are increasing or reducing the overall risk profile of your savings.

Out of portfolio selection – back to LD Discretionary

Your annual statement from The Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund will indicate whether your savings are invested in portfolios other than LD Discretionary. You can also view your current allocation by logging into your LD Account using MitID.

If your savings are currently split across several portfolios and you would like to opt out of the portfolio selection scheme, you must request a portfolio selection, whereby you transfer your entire savings into LD Discretionary. Once your entire savings are held in LD Discretionary, you will no longer be an active portfolio selector.
