Employee

Employees who were employed under the Danish Holidays Act during the period from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2020 are entitled to holiday pay from the Holiday Pay Fund.

Following the transition to a new Holiday Act, the holiday allowance accrued by employees during the period from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2020 has been ‘frozen’. The ‘frozen’ holiday allowance cannot be paid out until the employee leaves the Danish labour market permanently, e.g. through retirement or permanent relocation abroad.
