Disbursement process

As a general rule, your LD savings may be paid out when you reach the age of 60. However, you can also choose to leave your savings in the Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund until you need the money
You must meet one of the conditions set out in the disbursement rules in order to request a disbursement.

  • You can apply for a payment via ld.dk if you are 60. Log in to your LD account using NemID and complete the payment process.

  • If you do not have a NemID, you can order a payment form by calling +45 70 13 13 77 and quoting your personal identification number. If you are a relative of a member and wish to order a payment form, please remember to quote the personal identification number of the person in question.

  • It usually takes approximately two weeks from the time you request a payment on ld.dk until the money is available to you.

    If you have initiated the payment process by submitting a payment form, you should expect it to take two weeks from the date on which the Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund receives the form until the money is available to you. It will take longer if you are not entitled to a payment when the Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund receives the form. The Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund will not start the process until the day you become entitled to a payment. *

    If, for example, you have been awarded an early retirement pension on 1 August, it will take two weeks from that date before the money is available in your ‘nemkonto’ account, even if you have submitted the disbursement form before that date. The same applies if you submit the payment form well in advance of your 60th birthday. In that case, the amount will be transferred 8–10 days after your 60th birthday.

    Processing times may be slightly longer than usual during the holiday season and at the turn of the year.

    The Cost-of-Living Allowance Fund has no control over any delays that may arise between NemKonto and the banks.

  • If you are 60 and have both a “nemkonto” account and a nemID, you can arrange for the payment to be made by logging on to ld.dk. If you do not have a “nemkonto” account, you must enter your account details and attach relevant documentation proving that the account belongs to you. (Follow this link)
