LD Pensions must endeavour to pay out your LD Pensions savings when you reach the age of 70, but you may choose to defer payment and allow your savings to remain with LD Pensions. An increasing number of members are choosing to do so, either by submitting the enclosed form or by using the link on ld.dk.
You cannot defer your savings in advance. You must wait for the letter from LD Pensions, in which we will inform you about the payout and the option to defer it.
If you choose to defer your payment, LD Pensions will, once you have reached the age of 70, attempt to pay out your savings to you every five years. On each occasion, you will be given the option to defer the payout.
You are not obliged to leave your savings with LD Pensions for a long period of time, even if you have deferred payments. You may request the withdrawal of your LD Pensions savings at any time via ld.dk

Tax relief with LD Pensions
As a general rule, a member cannot claim tax relief until they reach the age of 60, at which point they become eligible for a payout.
LD Pensions informs each member of when they can claim the tax relief, and LD Pensions takes the initiative to ensure the member receives the tax relief by offering to convert the savings account into an LD-age savings account.
