At LD Pensions, we are looking for a consultant to help ensure robust IT systems and well-functioning solutions for our members.
About the job
As a consultant in this business area, you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT support for the organisation, as well as the operation and development of member solutions in LD Pensions’ two funds. LD Pensions’ business model is characterised by a high degree of outsourcing, with both internal IT operations and member services being handled by external suppliers. This means you will play a key role in the dialogue and collaboration with our suppliers and Partners.
You will help to ensure quality, continuity and progress – both in day-to-day operations and in development initiatives – and act as a link between the business and our suppliers.
This business area is responsible for member services, communications, HR, IT, governance and board support. You will be part of a small organisation with short decision-making processes, a high level of professional expertise and extensive contact with management, colleagues and Partners.
In a smaller organisation, the range of tasks is wide. Your main responsibilities will include:
- ensure robust and up-to-date IT solutions that support the organisation and its members
- support the membership department in discussions regarding the operation, maintenance and further development of membership solutions
- plan and implement strategic initiatives in the membership area
- work with data analysis to gain a better understanding of members’ characteristics and needs, and to support targeted solutions, products and communication
- manage day-to-day IT support in collaboration with our IT suppliers, including user administration, hardware, participation in operational meetings, and the planning and follow-up of annual IT cycle activities
- contribute to work on cyber and information security in collaboration with external suppliers.
Your profile
You thrive at the intersection of business and IT and are able to translate business needs into concrete solutions. You can delve into the details when necessary, whilst maintaining an overview in a working day filled with a wide variety of tasks.
We would like you to have experience in some of the following areas:
- the financial sector or another regulated business
- collaborating with external suppliers on the operation and development of IT and business-critical solutions
- an interest in and a basic understanding of IT and IT security. You do not need to be a technical specialist, but you understand how solutions work in practice
- an understanding of data and analytical skills, as well as the ability to critically assess data sources and results
- organisation, independence and the ability to make decisions within your own area of responsibility.
As a person, you enjoy working with others and thrive on collaborating across different disciplines.
We offer
You will become part of a small organisation characterised by a high level of professional expertise, an informal atmosphere, short decision-making processes and a strong spirit of collaboration. We prioritise both professional and personal development and offer opportunities for relevant training courses, networking and conferences, as well as a flexible working environment with a focus on work-life balance.
LD Pensions has 20 employees spread across three departments: Business, Investment and Finance & Risk. The Business department comprises the Head of Business and six specialist staff members. You will report to the Head of Business and COO, Jane Hørby Ebbesen.
Salary is determined on the basis of qualifications and experience. The place of work is the LD Pensions office at Flintholm Station in Frederiksberg.
